The compulsory composition of borsch is beet, which creates a special taste and color of the dish. The structure of borsch, except beet, usually consists of products such as cabbage, carrots, parsley, potatoes, onions, tomatoes (or tomato puree), as well as apples, beans, squash, etc. All these products can be purchased in any Ukrainian store.
Ukrainian borsch is mostly cooked on the bone or meat-and-bone broth. You can also cook soup on mushroom broth or chicken broth. To make borsch specific sour taste there is added kvass raw, juice, pickled beets, beet leaven (extracts), etc. to the broth.
Different versions of borsch are often named according to the area, from which it originates: Volyn, Kiev, Kirovograd, Poltava, Chernigov borsch and others. The official opening of the theatrical festival starts at noon on Deribasovskaya Street. Here, from 13:00 to 14:00 will be held the championship of speed eating pf stuffed fish.
According to the organizers, the degree of fun of eating fish can be compared only with the performance of karaoke. Competing in this kind of creative the participants will be able on the same Deribasovskaya Street from 12:00 to 15:00. Then from 4 to 6 p.m. Odessa citizens and visitors can watch or participate directly in the carnival procession, which takes place on the streets Sadovaya, Deribasovskaya, Richelieu and Kulikovo Field.
Attention will be paid also to the youngest "Comedian" - from 11:00 to 13:00 in the city park will be “Yumorinka” for children with entertainment and contests designed for the younger generation.
The final part of the festival will start at six in the evening - on the Kulikovo Field will perform “95th Kvartal”, Potap with Nastya Kamenskih, band “Para Normalnyh”, “4 Kings”, “D. Lemma”, “Tartak”. The fest ends with the fireworks.
The holiday is named in honor of the meeting of Jesus Christ, according to Christian tradition - God’s Son, entering Jerusalem celebrating palm procession. As the palm trees do not grow everywhere, the inhabitants of middle and middle latitudes use other plants instead of palm branches: in Ukraine - willow, Germany and other European countries - willow, juniper, beech, pear, apple.

According to the press center of Lviv city council, this egg will become a symbol of Easter in Lviv.
Director of Fair Igor Finyak noted that Easter Pysanka was created by about 10 craftsmen from the Jaworowski district, they covered the metal frame with vines, adorned it with flowers.
At the fair, which runs through April 11, Lviv citizens and guests will be able to buy all the necessary attributes for the Easter celebrations.
Also there will be held a charity auction by participation of the Center for guardianship of orphans, master classes in Pysankarstvo (Easter egg painting) and Pysanka making of papier-mache.
The joint project was prepared by the museum and Odessa society in name of Rakhmaninov, and the lecture on the works of the composer read Svetlana Malysh - the teacher of Odessa College of Arts and Culture by K. F. Dankevich.

Representatives of the “Record Book of Ukraine” registered the Kharkov confectionery miracle in the section “Cooking”- as the greatest “8”, made from a biscuit-cream cake, and gave the organizers the corresponding certificate.
Each visitor has received from the organizers the present - box with part of a unique cake, for the family celebrations of 8-March.
